The purple Test Mode button appears on your Webflow site when Stripe Test Mode is enabled for an Ecommerce project.
1. Disable Test Mode in Webflow Ecommerce
- Go to your Webflow Project Dashboard.
- Click Project Settings.
- Navigate to the Ecommerce tab.
- Scroll to the Payments section.
- If you’ve connected Stripe, you’ll see an option labeled Enable Test Mode.
- Toggle off the Test Mode switch.
- Save your changes.
2. Republish the Site
- After disabling Test Mode, go back to the Designer or Project Dashboard.
- Click Publish and re-publish your site to the live domain for the change to take effect.
3. Double-Check on Live Domain
- Visit your live site (not the Webflow.io staging subdomain).
- If the Test Mode button still shows, clear your browser cache or test in an incognito window.
4. Additional Note: Only Shows in Test Mode
- The purple button only appears when Stripe is in Test Mode and only shows on the published site for that mode.
- It won’t appear if Stripe is in Live Mode and everything is set up correctly.
