Can clients install the Webflow editor through a dedicated download page or is an invite from the dashboard necessary?

Clients cannot install the Webflow editor through a dedicated download page. To access the Webflow editor, clients will need to receive an invite from the dashboard. This is to ensure that only authorized users can access and make changes to a specific project.

Once you're ready to invite your clients to access the Webflow editor, you can do so by following these steps:

1. Log in to your Webflow account and navigate to the desired project's dashboard.
2. In the left sidebar, click on the "Settings" tab.
3. Under the "Editor" section, you will find an "Invite" button. Click on it.
4. In the "Invite client to edit" modal, enter the email address of the client you wish to invite.
5. Optionally, you can add a personalized message in the "Invite message" field.
6. Finally, click on the "Send invite" button to send the invitation to your client.

Once the invitation is sent, your client will receive an email containing a link to access the Webflow editor. They will need to create a Webflow account (if they don't have one already) and log in using the provided link.

It's worth noting that inviting clients to the Webflow editor grants them access to edit only the specific project you invited them to. They won't be able to see or modify other projects in your Webflow account.

By following this process, you can easily collaborate with your clients by granting them access to edit and make changes to specific projects using the Webflow editor.
