If you enabled Webflow User Accounts by mistake and need to disable or delete the login page, Webflow does not currently provide a direct way to disable User Accounts once activated. However, you have a few workarounds to prevent access.
1. Remove the Login Page from Navigation
- Go to Pages Panel in Webflow Designer.
- Locate the Login Page ("/login") under "Utility Pages."
- Remove any links to this page from your site’s navigation, buttons, and footer.
2. Restrict Access to the Login Page
- Open the Page Settings for the Login Page.
- Under Page Protection, set "Who can access this page?" to Specific Users or Admins Only.
- This will prevent unauthorized users from seeing the login page.
3. Delete User Account Components
- If you added Sign-Up, Login, or Logout buttons manually, delete them from your site.
- Check Navbar, Footer, and CMS Collection Pages for any User Account elements and remove them.
4. Hide the Login Page Using Password Protection
- In Page Settings, set a password to hide the Login Page from everyone except those with the password.
- Though not a full removal, this prevents unwanted access.
- Since Webflow does not allow complete removal of the User Accounts feature once enabled, contact Webflow Support and explain the issue.
- They may offer alternative solutions depending on your use case.
Summary
Webflow does not allow disabling User Accounts once enabled, but you can prevent access by removing navigation links, restricting access, deleting user account components, or password-protecting the page. If necessary, contact Webflow Support for further help.
