If the option to downgrade to the Basic Plan in Webflow is disabled and shows the message "No CMS support," it means your site is currently using CMS features. To enable the downgrade option, you need to remove all CMS-dependent features from your project.
1. Delete All CMS Collections
- Go to Webflow Designer > CMS Panel (Database icon in the left sidebar).
- Identify all Collections and check their references.
- Delete each Collection after ensuring no elements depend on it.
2. Remove Collection List Elements
- Inspect all pages for Collection List components.
- Delete any Collection Lists within the Navigator Panel or directly from the canvas.
3. Check for CMS-Linked Elements
- Remove Collection Page Templates under Pages Panel > CMS Collection Pages.
- Verify that no symbols, filters, or dynamic styling are linked to CMS content.
- Remove Forms linked to CMS data or any custom scripts querying CMS data.
5. Refresh the Billing Page
- After all CMS content is removed, go to Site Settings > Billing.
- The Basic Plan option should now be enabled for selection.
Summary
To downgrade to the Basic Plan, you must remove all CMS features, including CMS Collections, Collection Lists, CMS-dependent pages, and any CMS-linked elements. Once these are deleted, refresh your Billing Settings, and the option should be available.
