When you share your Webflow website link in a mobile text message (SMS or iMessage), the preview often includes a template logo or favicon if you haven't customized it. To remove or replace this, follow these steps:
1. Update Your Webflow Favicon and Web Clip
- Go to Webflow Designer.
- Click on the Project Settings at the top left.
- Navigate to the General tab.
- Scroll to the Favicon section.
- Upload your custom favicon (typically 32x32px PNG or ICO).
- Scroll to the Web Clip section.
- Upload a web clip image (typically 256x256px PNG).
- Save Changes and Publish your site.
2. Check the Open Graph Image
- In Webflow, open the Pages panel (left sidebar).
- Click the cog icon (⚙) next to your homepage.
- Scroll down to the Open Graph Settings.
- If no custom image is set, upload a custom Open Graph image (1200x630px recommended).
- Save & Publish your site again.
3. Clear Cache and Test the Link
- Clear mobile cache if the old preview still shows.
- Try sharing the link again in a new text message.
Summary
Replace the favicon, web clip, and Open Graph image in Webflow settings to remove the template logo. After publishing, clearing caches ensures that the mobile preview updates correctly.
